I am an international baccalaureate senior and I was just recently accepted into University of Miami. EVERYONE is telling me that because I got into Miami I shouldn't be worried about getting into University of Florida. But I am so nervous I won't get in!!!
Basically, my extra curriculars are my strongest asset:

-National Honor Society, 2 years, President
-National Art Honor Society, 2 years, Vice President
-National French Honor Society, 2 years, Historian
-National Math Honor Society, 1 year
-FBLA, 4 years, Chapter president and District Secretary (last year I went to the state leadership conference)
-Interact, 4 years, Treasurer
-Big brothers big sisters, 2 years
-Theater, 4 years, 8 different major productions that each last 4 months
-2 years of varsity cheerleading
-2 years of dance
-Odyssey of the Mind
-French tutor to kindergarten class at local elementary school
-Volunteer at Metropolitan ministries
-Volunteer at biology summer camp for underprivileged youth
-Library Teen Advisory Board
-NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) Jewish youth group member, 4 years
-Regional music director for NFTY Florida Region
-Unit head for 2 years and counselor for 1 year, 3 years total, at Camp Jenny, a 5 day sleepaway camp for underprivileged inner city youth in Atlanta
-Raised $900 for Juvenile diabetes research through glow-in-the-dark volleyball event

The essay I wrote for UF is also very strong and expresses my leadership skills through a story from Camp Jenny. I also used the other questions, asking about family hardships and additional information, to talk more about my extra curriculars.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic.

I also have 1035 community service hours on my high school transcripts.
My ACT score is 27, 1780 SAT, GPA 4.1 weighted, and I have been in the International Baccalaureate all throughout high school.

I would really appreciate opinions!!!
