My freshman/Sophomore years I didn't really care and had a 3.3 GPA but Junior year i got straight A's both semesters which boosted me up to a 3.5 and if i get 1 semester senior year of straight A's i will end with a 3.64. I will have taken 8 AP classes (American Government, World History, Human Geography, US History, Statistics, Physics B, Micro and Macro Economics). I'm retaking the SAT/ACT this fall because i got a 1760 SAT and want to get higher. I'm applying regular decision and I'm in numerous clubs and I'm president of a huge club and Historian of another and in a bunch of others. I've played 4 years of Ice and Roller hockey. I also took some SAT subject tests for extra. I have other stuff like summer camp and jobs I can put but I wont get too deep. So do you guys think I can get accepted regular admission? UGA looks first at GPA, then rigor, and then standardized test scores.

UGA: Aim for 1950+/28+

thanks for the advice, any other tips to increase my chances?

I’m in the same position as you!! I have a 3.3 unweighted GPA, but 3.71 weighted. I didn’t have any C’s, but i took the most rigorous classes available…and i’d be taking 16 APs by the end of next year. I have a 1980 SAT, but i don’t know if i’d get in…you have a higher chance than me because of your GPA…so good luck. :)
