Can I get into: Umass Amherst?

<p>I had a 3.2 cumulative GPA in high school.</p>

<p>I currently go to a selective private university in Boston.</p>

<p>For reasons such as money and other personal things, I am transferring to Umass Amherst.</p>

<p>I understand it is a public university in Massachusetts, but is it as competitive as it claims to be?</p>

<p>Will I get in?</p>

<p>Is your GPA weighted or unweighted? Does your school follow the national system of GPAs? It is somewhat ambiguous when you just list a GPA without specifying other info.</p>
