Can I get into UNC Chapel Hill? If not, what can I do?

Hello! I literally just signed up for this account, so I’m terribly sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong place/doing another awkward thing that I’m not supposed to do. I have recently had the realization that I am going to be a junior next year and that I should probably be realistically evaluating my chances of reaching my goals. I feel like I’ve slacked off up to this point, and since my high school career is halfway through, I was wondering if it’s too late. Chapel Hill is my goal, and I am almost positive that that is where I will go if I’m accepted. I llive in North Carolina, so I know that helps my chances. As far as SAT/ACT scores, I have not yet taken either test, but I am willing to prepare very well, and (sorry if this sounds arrogant!) I know I’m capable of scoring well above average if I do so. I’m also planning to devote as much time as I possibly can to my schoolwork next year in order to make higher grades and bring up my GPA. I’m generally a very stromg writer, so my admissions essays should also help my chances. So, essentially, I’m asking if any of you think I can get into Chapel Hill, if you think it’s too late for me to improve my resume enough to do so, or what I can do to get in if it isn’t too late. I’ve listed the classes I’ve taken along with the grades I made in each, as well as a list of extracurricular activities I participate in.

Freshman year:
Algebra 1: 95 as my final grade in the class, 4 on the EOC
Honors Biology: 96 as my final grade in the class, 5 on the EOC
Honors English 9: 93 as my final grade
Religion: 97
Civics and Economics: 95
Health/PE: 94
Spanish I: 96
Information and Influence: 99
Digital Photography: B+
Graphic Design: A

Sophomore year:
Geometry: 91
English 10: 96, 5 on the EOC
Sociology: A+
AP US History: I don’t know what my final grade is or what I made on the exam yet, but I feel like I got somewhere around a 4 and a 91 in the class
AP Psychology: 87 in the class, I don’t know what I made on the exam either, but it should also be around a 4
Religion: 96
Spanish 2: 96

Junior year:
My schedule for the fall semester is Honors Algebra 2, Honors Chemistry, Introduction to Entrepreneurship (a college course, I go to a dual-enrollment high school), Macroeconomics (also a college course, and I plan to take the AP exam for macroeconomics), and Spanish 3

Extracurriculars:
Public Forum Debate: I participated during my freshman and sophomore years, and my debate coach named me captain of our debate team for both next year and the year following.
Model United Nations: I participated during my sophomore year and plan to continue for my junior and senior years.
National Honor Society: I was inducted this year at the earliest I could
Student Council: I was elected Class Representative for next year (we do our SC elections at the end of each year)
Community Service: I volunteer every summer at a retirement home and I have reached out to my county’s science center to volunteer there as well
Career experience/internships: I have also reached out to a local attorney to gain experience in law and possibly a position as an unpaid intern over the summer

Apologies for the wall of text. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond!

am I missing something? you say you’ve slacked but all I see are A’s and 2 B+. maybe you could take a few more AP’s but you look like a good candidate for UNC-CH to me.
