Can I get into University of Chicago

I have a 32 ACT and 2100 on the SAT.
I also have a 3.5 GPA.
Lastly I wasnt in any sports but I do have 120 hours of community service and have participated in various ECs (5 in total).
I have taken all honors and advance placement classes(8 in total) and I go to a top 50 ranked high school.
I was wondering if I could get into this school.
I want a double major into Political Science and International Relations if that changes anything.

Any super notable ECs? Were you president of some club, or did you demonstrate a unique quality in some field?

With the information presented, I’d say that it’s fairly unlikely that you could get into Chicago (good ACT, bad GPA, bad ECs), but their admissions are based heavily on factors like essays and the uniqueness of the applicant, so it’s hard to know. If it’s your dream school, give it a shot. I wouldn’t count on getting in, but you never know.

32 ACT is in the target range, but unless you are an URM, your 3.5 GPA will reduce your chances of a positive admission outome at U Chicago – or likely at any of the very selective schools. I’m not saying you dont have a shot (you should apply) - it is possible with some impressive extra curriculars and jaw-dropping essay responses, that you will fill a need as the adcoms build their class, but statistically the odds are against you.

Thank you
I was just wondering
