Can I get into University of Michigan (U of M)?

Hi, I’m currently a junior that ranks in the top 15-20% of my class. I graduate in 2019 and I have my eyes set on nothing of but U of M. I want to know what my chances are, because I consistently worry about getting in. My grades have been improving year by year, and I’m really pushing for a 31-32 on my ACT.

On top of all of this, I’ve got the following extra activities and stuff on my plate:
-4 year class representative
-Potential Vice president of Student Council
-Piano SAT Level 9 - playing since 4
-IB Diploma Candidate

  • 4 years of high school soccer (2 year varsity)
-Peer leader coordinator (essentially I set up a link crew for incoming freshman to assimilate)
    -National Honors Society member
-Around 100 research and volunteer hours at hospital and medical research center

If I can knock out a 31-32 on my ACT next week, I’ll feel more confident. I took it blind and got a 28, but now that I’ve had more practice and I’ve studied, I’m projecting a higher score.
So what do you think my chances are?

Wait till you get a better score before chancing.
