Alright, I want to know if it would be hard to get into UT Dallas in Richardson Texas if I'm in the top 11% in High school with a 3.9 GPA ranked number 55, A lot of extra curricular activities, very good student never in any trouble, I have a lot of volunteer work, I'm a Hispanic female, BUT I scored a little low on my SAT's and it was my first time taking them but I ran out of time for the deadline. I scored around 900 with Math and Reading only. Do I still have a chance??

Is that 3.9 out of 4.0? If so you stand a good shot. Your SATs are a little low but your grades are up there and your class standing is good.

I think it's out of 4.5.

Top 11% makes you a good candidate. However you do not meet any of the automatic admission requirements. So, you'll be up for review but I think you have a good chance if you have plenty of extracurriculars. I'd ask them if you can take the SAT again though. You might even want to try the ACT, if you have trouble with the SAT or are sick of it.

I got accepted. : ) Turns out they had a 'Top 15% gets in automatically' rule.
