Can I get into UPenn

Hi I’m gonna be a senior and I want to do ED to UPenn but I’m not sure because I go to a very competitive, STEM school where literally sophomores take AP Calc BC (just for fun !!!) even though I’m not as STEM-sided and more based on the humanities/liberal arts…People at my school literally have USC as a backup school (!!!)

Unweighted GPA: 3.78 Weighted: 4.35
ACT: 33
I’ll have taken 11 AP classes by the time I’m done with high school and 5 IB classes.
I’m involved in 7+ extracurriculars and have had leadership positions in 6 of them.

It will be a reach, just like it is for pretty much everyone else.

Therefore, definitely apply to other schools, including at least a few matches and at least one safety.

Does your school use Naviance? How many kids at your school have applied to Penn, what were their stats, and did they get in?

^ check with naviance. Obviously you have tough competition so it’s good to know where you stand in your school. Otherwise keep in mind that something that makes you stand out from the crowd will help you significantly.
