Hello, I REALLY want to get into USC and major in Architecture. My GPA (up to Junior) is 3.65 my SAT score currently is 2000. I have some circular activities like being a Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, Black belt in tae kwon do, member of a advanced community orchestra, and member of the ACE program (Architecture, Construction, and Engineering), over 100 hours of community service, and Good (maybe even great) recommendations from 2 teachers so far. Do I have at least a 50% or higher chance of getting in?

Why are you posting this here? And the answer is no, I do not think you have a 50% chance or better.

ummm im new here and i don’t really know the appropriate places to place thread, and so what is my problem? Is my GPA too low? My SAT?

Well, you posted a chances thread for USC in the UCLA forum…

Should’ve posted in either the Chances forum or the USC forum–definitely not the UCLA forum.

Anyway, no one here can tell you what “percent” chance you have of getting in. Just apply and see. Good luck.

You’re probably not getting into USC. Both your SAT and GPA are too low. You look as if you’re a match for 'SD.

Yea sure… if you have enough money, U$C will say YES. …

Yes, U$C will probably accept you.

Someone who posts this type of question in a UCLA forum is stupid.
U$C easily accepts TONS of stupid people.

Conclusion: You will easily get into U$C.

jtanton, very nicely stated :)

jtanton is only half right… U$C easily accepts TONS of stupid people with a lot of money.

^That’s why I chose not to apply to USC because it’s filled with a bunch of rich party morons. USC definitely has enough endowment to ignore these applicants but they don’t and take the money…
