3.49 uw gpa, 3.9 weighted gpa. The reason my gpa is so low is because Sophomore year and freshman year was very hard for me, but I managed to get all A’s junior year and senior year.I improved all of my grades in sophomore year, for example, I got a higher english grade, math grade, and science grade than freshman year’s grades. It’s just that one D in accounting brought my gpa down. I had a horrible teacher. My sat score is a 2100, I got fives in three AP exams, and I was varsity two years on the wrestling team, and played violin for 4+ years.
Match but never blame your teacher, it reflects bad on you.
You never know, but kids with 4.3 weighteds get turned down by SC. I’d say it’s a reach. 2100 is just above average there, and your AP scores aren’t part of the application package technically. If you have strong EC’s or an awesome essay, you will be much stronger.
