Can I get into USC?

I’m a junior.
Race: Arab

GPA:
Freshmen Year: 2.63 first sem/2.78 second sem (I’m aware I did terribly my freshman year, hopefully they’ll appreciate my improvement)
Sophomore Year: 3.3 first sem/4.0 second sem (took the only AP offered, didn’t calculate unweighted)
Junior Year: 4.0 UW/ 4.3 W (all AP/enriched)
planning on getting same scores for senior year
Senior Year: 4.0 UW/ 4.3 W (all AP/enriched)

one math course ahead than 80 percent of my grade (skipped algebra 1)

Planning on these test scores:
SAT: 2100
ACT: 31

Organized an entire Cancer fundraiser on my own
Student Council (Grades 10-12) hopefully executive by senior year
Drama Club (Grades 11-12)
Soccer (11-12)
More Community Service: Habitat for Humanity (twice), City of Windsor Snow Angels Volunteer Program, ETC
Lead Role in 1 school play, part of 2 other plays
Newspaper
School Play Club
Prom Committee

Hoping to start a school drama club this year.
Hoping to attend the USC Summer American Popular Culture Program in 2017

ESSAY: About the struggles of being an Arab who wanted to pursue the path of creativity at USC. Arab culture didn’t accept you unless you wanted to be a doctor/ business man/ engineer. (DID NOT WRITE MY ESSAY YET, JUST PLANNING IT)

I know my overall UW GPA average will be weak due to my terrible freshman year grades (everyone told me freshmen year wouldn’t matter) but I think I have somewhat of a shot. It’s my absolute dream school.

ALSO, my mother died earlier in my life (before high school) and that led to untreated depression and an untreated eating disorder. I had to overcome both of them on my own (no therapist, hospitalization) during 8th and 9th grade. These will be added in my additional comments section.

For an international student, I’d say you’re a mid/low reach. It’s honestly hard to chance you until you get your actual scores back, but aim for something higher than a 2100. Keep doing what you’re doing and showing improvement - it can’t hurt to apply, but remember to apply for safeties.
