instate 4.0. offices/ many leadership roles, community service, sports and captain of sports. i am instate so that helps. i have 2 honor classes and next year i will have all ap and ib classes except for math and spanish, but i will have 5 years of spanish. i dont knoe about my sat but im thinking like a 1200. i will have very good recommendations and stuff. do i have chance?

Try to get more like a 1350 (old test...M+CR). Next year's academic plan sounds solid. If you do that, UVA will be a level.

ur 4.0 is nice but if u have only taken 2 honoirs classes up to ur junior year...that will not look favorably on you

You lucky in-stater. I wish I could get into UVA. Whatev. I'm a CA resident. ;) Anyway, only 2 honors classes? ... this is awkward. The guy up there already said it, I won't repeat. Anyway, if you're taking all APs and IBs(still not sure what this is) your senior year, and you keep that 4.0 UW up, then you should be fine.

no no, not just two honors classes in all. i took 3 my freshman year, two my sophmore year, and two this year. but after this year im going to be recommended for almost all Ap and Ib because. i have maintain all A's all year. but i just hope since like i got an A+ in spanish that they dont think i put myself in easy classes, cause the reason i got that grade is because i study my butt off! haha i also am in national honor society, spanish honor society, and mu alpha theta that looks good right?

We haven't received a letter yet from UVA - is that a bad sign for my son?
