Honestly, if you write some good essays on the application, I think you would have a pretty good chance of getting in, even though your GPA might be a bit on the lower side for the OOS applicants.

i think you defintely got in. Amazing EC's and 11th ranked school in nation. Only flaw might be 650 writing SAT but 800 in math helps alot

you realize that out of anyone, you know your chances best...i think with your stats you know that you have a great chance of getting in.

sportD012: Your profile is more than adequate for getting admission to the most selective colleges/universities. Please do remember that the competition is increasing and you will have to show the 'otherside of yours' in your essays, to differentiate you from the students of similar profile. In my opinion, a 'good execution' of the application will get you a berth in Uva.

What state are you from? I hate to say this, but there's a very good chance you'll be rejected if you are from certain states [like New Jersey or Rhode Island].

you're in..

Hey I think you have an awesome chance, even for OOS! Your SAT (great job on the math and Chem!!) and extracurriculars are a good match and your schools ranking is impressive. Just let your personality shine in the essays and this should show your dedication and what a great addition you would make to the campus. Good luck!
