Can I get into Vanderbilt ED?

<p>I am an Iranian Jewish girl from New York
I have a 91 avg unweighted and have taken 6 APs throughout high school
I am primarily involved in science research, singing, and the school newspaper
Science Research: have been apart of the class/club for four years. This current summer I conducted research at Columbia University and am entering INTEL Science talent search and Siemens Westinghouse Science competition. Last summer I conducted research at Cornell Medical School, and the summer before that I interned at a pharmaceutical laboratory (where I also conducted research.) Nonetheless I have one a couple of merit awards for research from Romaan Hass LISEF etc.
Singing/Music: Allstate Women’s Choir my Junior year, All County Women’s Choir for three years, Select Singer’s Choir in high school for four years, Jazz Choir in high school for three years, Piano lessons-eight years, sing the National Anthem at high school football and basketball games, sing the national anthem before concerts at Great Neck’s steppingstone park, have been singing/performing at high school’s Coffee House talent showcase for four years, compose music/write songs, won second place at American Idol Experience competition in Orlando, Florida-sophomore year, and am part of the Tri-M music Honor’s society.
School Newspaper: Freshman year-staff writer, sophomore year- Feature’s section copy editor/associate editor, junior year-Feature’s sectional Editor, senior year-Managing Business Editor/Treasurer.
*Am the vice president of S.A.A.D club (3 yrs)
*Am part of the persian club
*was awarded by the board of representative of my town alongside my principle for my talent in music
*Have awards for the piano as well</p>

<p>I also have a job and work at a doctors office and do community service putting on free concerts at my towns retirement home</p>

<p>Nonetheless I do not have great test scores...I got a 660 on Bio sat 2 and a 600 on american (i didnt have time to study)</p>

<p>I didnt do we ll on the sats either so I am taking the ACTs this october (and I want to apply ED to Vanderbilt this november)</p>

<p>on my ACT practice test I got a 27 on the last one :/ </p>

<p>I feel like I have great ECs but hypothetically can I get into Vanderbilt if I get a 27 on ACTs??! It's my dream school.</p>

<p>Without a hook, your test score is low for Vandy. Two years ago, they WL’ed a lot of 31/32’s…</p>

<p>Also does Vandy predominantly look at standardized test scores… or who you generally are as a person (ECs) ?</p>
