Can i get into Vanderbilt?

I am a white male
GPA- 3.65 unweighted, 4.21 weighted
SAT- 1810
I live in Howard County, Maryland
My school is ranked in the top 15 high schools in the state
rank- 27%
Soccer for 3 years (won state championship one year)
Track and field for 3 years
in NHS
in my schools AP scholars program
have taken 6 AP classes (counting the two im taking now)
Applying for biology/pre-med studies
And one of my family members is an alumni

Do i have any chance of getting accepted?

No, you do not have a feasible shot of being accepted to Vanderbilt.

Here’s what I see with your app:

Good things:

-your alumni connection makes you immediately above others; Vandy likes to keep it in the family ^.^
-you are taking AP classes, which shows you challenge yourself
-you’ve been part of a champion soccer team for three years which shows commitment and dedication

Bad things:
GPA is lacking, possibly because of AP overload…not that i’m right, this is just what I see
SAT score–while it is in no way a “bad score,” Vandy typically only focuses on scores around 1950±-can you take the test again?

What Else Should You Do:

-If you haven’t done so already, visit the school and get an interview. Vanderbilt is one of those schools that will only care about your app if you care about them.
-If you meet your regional officer anytime in the future, make sure you stay connected with them by emailing only if you have questions or if you wish to add a significant achievement after your app is submitted
Retake the SAT
Try and raise your GPA–don’t overload on APs if it’s going to knock down your GPA.
-If your objective criteria is lacking, buff up your subjective criteria: essays, work, ECs. But the best is if you get involved with something that makes you totally stand out. What about coaching underprivileged soccer kids or something like that?

Best of luck! Chance me please
