Can I get into Vanderbilt?

1720(I know it's bad) on my SAT, but am planning on taking it again and am aiming for a 2000, and got a 680 on US

National English Honor Society(Treasurer)
National Chinese Honor Society(President)
National Science Honor Society
National Math Honor Society
Tri-M Honor Society(historian)
Jazz Band(Section Leader)
Have done 3 musicals(2 singing and 1 in orchestra)
Marching band for four years and am Color Guard Captain
Will graduate with 6 AP credits and 3 Dual Enrolled credits and got a 5 on AP US
African American and the first generation of my family to be born in America (parents are from Haiti) and my parents did go to college (I don't know how much any of that actually matters)</p>

<p>I’m sorry but a 1720 is a no go. Bring it up to the 2200+ range and maybe.</p>

<p>You are a URM so a 2000+ will get you into Vanderbilt with that GPA. Ignore the comment of the guy above me, good job on the hardwork!</p>

<p>URM is a good factor, but I would still try to get the highest scores.</p>

<p>You’ve got a good GPA and ECs, but it’s just the SAT score that I would be worried about. If you can bring that up, I think you should be fine.</p>

<p>Yah, but let’s just say my SAT was a lot better… I’m hardcore studying for the SAT the next few weeks</p>
