Can I get into Vanderbilt?

<p>Vanderbilt has been my dream school for years! I can't imagine going anywhere else. I was just wondering what my chances might be?</p>

<p>My ACT: 32</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.9</p>

<p>Weighted: 4.2</p>

<p>Ranking: 8/525</p>

<p>Junior Schedule:Anatomy, Chemistry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP English 11, AP US History, Spanish 103 and Spanish 104 </p>

<p>Projected Senior Year Schedule: AP Biology, AP English 12, AP Government and Economics, AP Psychology, AP Spanish 105, Studio in Art, Calculus, Counselor Aid</p>

<p>Extra-Curriculurs: Tiger Ambassador (Hosts for my high school), Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, Anchor Club, Junior Civitan, Environmental Club, Schools-4-Schools, Soccer, and Multicultural Club.
I do not hold any leadership positions this year, but I am planning on running next year.</p>

<p>My school offers IB but I did not take it, do you think that will hurt me in applying for selective schools?</p>

<p>Yah im srry to break it to you, but that mail is sent to a lot of people. Vanderbilt=mid-reach. If money’s not a problem, go ED. Still your EC’s and class rigor are going to hurt you. You could take SAT II’s to try to boost your app if Vandy accepts them. Good Luck :)</p>
