Are you a VA resident? There is a back door entry to William & Mary called
“The Richard Bland College of William and Mary.” It is in Petersburg, about 40 miles from the actual William & Mary and 25 miles in the other direction to Richmond. It has dorms and it’s campus is an old plantation. The tuition is the same as a community college but the room and board are the same as a four year school. There is an agreement with William & Mary that if you graduate with a 3.25 you will be admitted to the “real” William & Mary. If you graduate RB with a 2.5 you can get in to VCU. I found this place while researching colleges my freshman daughter can get into with her presently appalling grades.
