Can I get into Yale?

I'm a senior at a regular public high school. I am Asian (specifically Korean), and my parents attended college in Korea, so I have no legacy. I have a 4.71 weighted GPA and a 3.90 unweighted. I completed the following AP classes: Government, English 11, World History, Calculus AB, Physics C: Mechanics. I am currently enrolled in the following AP classes: English 12, Psychology, Calculus BC, Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, Chemistry, and Spanish V. I have a 2150 superscore on my SAT (670 reading, 770 math, and 710 writing). I am the president and founder of my school's Asian Student Union. I am the president of the art club. I am a member of the National Honor Society and math team. I won a couple piano competitions. I did some volunteer work at a local hospital as an occupational therapist. Do I have a shot at Yale?

Of course you have a chance; how much of a chance is anyone’s guess.

Write the best essay you can, emphasizing why YOU are the kind of thoughtful, interesting person who should be in Yale classes.
