I got accepted RD to CC, and I was wondering if I can get one C in a class for 2nd semester (AP Psych). I have 3 AP classes, 2 non-AP classes, and 1 that is college level so it goes on a separate transcript. I have A's in all my classes (except I might have a B in the college class on its own transcript). Can I get a C in one AP class without Columbia rescinding my acceptance?

Ask your HS counselor .

No one can say for certain, but getting one C probably won’t put you on the short list to be made an example of. There are top-college acceptees out there who get all Cs and Ds and still manage to plead their way into matriculating. You have to really “let yourself go” academically to get rescinded. From your description, it sounds like you’re still trying hard but hit a snag in one class. It may very well be that the experience of doing something hard enough that even a smart person like yourself got a C may end up being more educational than all the other A’s and A-'s you’ve ever gotten.
