Well basically... I screwed up. I'm pretty much getting a D in honors french 3 unless i destroy the senior exam. The rest of my grades are fine though (for a senior at least) as even with the D im getting anywhere from a 2.85 to a 3.14 but most likely either a 2.85 or a 3.0. I'm probably getting an A in gym and Apush Bs in APES, AP Human geo a C in Honors Calc and (most likely) a D in Honors French 3. Honors English is the wildcard and I could get either an A or a B. Basically with the D, in a class that i already have the requirements for (2 credits) is it possible that i get rescinded??? I am also a business major and as far as i'm concerned I don't have to take a language at Ohio State unless i'm doing international business.

Sure. Ohio State admitted you, and Ohio State could rescind its offer of admission.

Probably, they won’t. But nobody on College Confidential has the authority to speak for Ohio State. You need to contact their admissions office. If you were my kid, I’d make you call them–not email them–tomorrow. Because it’s too late today, and I can’t make you do it last week.

I don’t understand why you would ask people on a forum to guess what Ohio State might do, versus pick up the phone and call them yourself and ask.

Why are you not doing everything you can to “destroy” your senior exam in French? You sound like you don’t care about raising your grade and are fine with getting a D as long as Ohio State doesn’t rescind you. If I were your parent, I’d have second thoughts about sending you off to college before you become more serious about your academics.

And seriously, how would we know what Ohio State will do?

They could rescind, but they likely won’t. They may want to put you on a temprorary academic probation. You will have to call the university, but i would wait until your grades are final.
