I am waiting for UCLA admission right now, and pretty sure that I am going to go to UCLA if I get accepted, however, I cannot stop thinking about the rejected case.
First of all, I think I have to explain my situation since it can be complicated. I am working as a professional novelist, and for that, I am pretty sure that I have enough ability for writing. I do not like to say that I am perfect so that I do not need to improve my writing, however, it is true that I do not really expect that university level of classes can teach me something worthy of 2 extra years and 20 grands(I am an international student.)
But the point is that I applied UCI for english major, when I applied for film at UIUC. I am stuck between these two options, because I believe that UCI may be better option for film even if I am majoring English over there since it is comparably close to Hollywood. I do not know what kind of film industries do UIUC have near, but there would be no doubt that Hollywood with outsmart whatever is over there.
For that, I would like to know the vision of film major and the quality of curriculum in UIUC, and how easy it is to change major to film in UCI. If you can give me any other advice for my case, I would gladly take it.
Thank you for reading this!
