Can I get some real feedback? What colleges do you thing I would get into

Hey everyone, I’am a junior at a high school in New Jersey. I really want to double major in public health policy and chemistry, What colleges should I apply too and what would be reaches? So far I have Bosoton University, Georgetown, Rutgers New Brunswick, and UCLA on my list, but they seem like reaches, what other schools should i put on my list

Here are my grades (I had a bad freshmen year)

-Participated in a service club called interact

Orchestra 100

Extra currciulars at this point:

  • Started teaching taekwondo
  • Became Vice-President of the GSA and increased membership, created an ally training to make the school more inclusive, all the teachers in the school were “trained”
  • science olympiad
  • interact member
  • got into Jazz band, which is hard in my school

Since you are of state, UCLA would be expensive in the unlikely event that you get in. I would expect BU to be expensive also, if you get in, unless you qualify for need based aid. Have you run the NPC on all of these schools?

I have worked and/or studied with folks who had graduated from Rutgers, all of whom were excellent. Since you are in-state I would definitely keep it on the list.

…and yes, I agree that you need to add a couple more schools in the match / safety sort of range.
