I will be visiting UCLA in a week or so. Can I have my Bruincard made on campus? I live in northern califorina, so this will be my only trip to ucla besides the orientation.

I don’t think you can, you need to sign a contract then mail 2x2" photo along with the contract to the department which makes bruin card, cuz they might need 4-5 weeks to get it done…

good luck

Yes you can…beginning on June 1st, but only if you are taking summer sessions at UCLA

^Don’t listen to these pp.

I actually emailed the BruinCard center and they said you can have your pic taken on campus but that you won’t get it till orientation. You can also just drop off the application with a photo you take, though I don’t know if you get your photo before orientation if you do that.

This is part of the email correspondence:

I’m an incoming transfer student and I was wondering if I can come in before orientation to have my photo taken instead of taking one myself?

Yes you may come in and take the picture at the BruinCard center for free but the card will not be released to you until your orientation day or if you are not attending orientation you can pick the card up after September 1st.

Thank you,

BruinCard Center

I just sent the form and pic in the mail…when do they send you the card? has anyone gotten theirs yet?

if u do wanna attend the orientation, they will have it ready for u during it.

@missanab: i send the form and pic since 5/12 but havent gotten mine yet. So I guess we have to wait till orientation then.

i sent my pic and form beginning of May. i still havent heard anything from them. i thought they were suppose to mail it to you, and then you activate it online.
