<p>Hello Everyone-- Let's get straight to the point here.</p>
<p>I took the SAT on Nov. 2nd and scored a 1610- Math, Reading and Writing. Writing I got a 600, Reading a 480 and Math 530. </p>
<p>The Question is, Can I improve? To the point of a 2000 atleast. I had placed alot of effort on that test, but I think I have learnt a little bit more in math. But is there a chance of a 2000? I am scheduled to take the next SAT in Dec. And was hoping for this 2000 in Dec.</p>

<p>You definitely have an opportunity to improve. If you study hard (i.e. learn test-taking strategies and realize patterns in SAT question types) and don’t get too stressed out the day of, I’d be very surprised if you didn’t get 100+ points higher. </p>
<p>The SAT is a hard work test. Just keep working hard and never think that you cannot work any harder than you already have. Time and effort = Success.</p>
<p>Of course you can improve…I got a 2140 on my Nov 2013 SAT.</p>
<p>For vocab, study what you can…DirectHits, Barron’s Critical Reading Workbook, etc…I mainly studied words from the blue book itself.</p>
<p>Writing and math are the easiest areas to improve in. For writing, just memorize and become comfortable with the 10 most common grammatical errors such as pronouns, verbs, and idioms. It takes practice and time.</p>
<p>For math, be comfortable with the questions and the format in which they are asked…also, be sure to be comfortable with the concepts tested.</p>
<p>It’s basically all practice…with practice, you can raise your score to a 2000+.</p>
<p>Of course you can! I got the same score and i really need to get 2000+ on December too, so i bought Mcgraw hill sat which i think has really useful vocabulary and for the math i think you should try dr. john chung’s math tips. Hope you’ll succeed.</p>
