Can I just not state my race on college apps? Any possibility to do that?

You can probably guess what race I am just from the question...

I’ll guess Asian or White. But yep! You can check the “Prefer not to answer” box

Is that allowed on Common App, or on the Universal Application system?

And are there any statistics about it? Like are student who decline to state race discriminated against at all, cause that would suck lol…

Yep! It’s definitely allowed on the common app (I don’t know anything about the Universal App). I’m sure there are statistics, but when you check that box, the AdComs will mostly assume you are white.
So if you’re white, just put white (or if don’t answer, it won’t hurt/help you either way). If you’re Asian, you could not answer and that would slightly help (racial bias exists even if AdComs say it doesn’t). If you’re a URM, check off your ethnicity/race (it helps a ton).

“Decline to state” is probably assumed to be Asian, not white, if the school cares at all.

If you’re last name is McPherson or Ming, the AdComs will make their own assumptions.
