I'm taking the SAT this June and I'm kinda scared

I took the one in Jan but wasn't satisfied with the score.
I ordered the question and answer service or w/e and got the
real Jan. test with answers a few days ago.

Well I just took it.
timed, plastic chair, A/C full power, nothing on my desk, family
outside, dead silence, and all that to kinda simulate testing center.
oh and plus anxiety and what not..

well I got like 2300. (based on 10 on the essay which I always get)

Is there a chance I can keep this up on the real test?

did you see what questions you missed prior to re-taking? if so, that definitely inflated your score. if you didn't however, then your score may be accurate.

just curious, what'd you get in Jan that you weren't satisfied w/?

It's not an accurate score because although you may believe that you don't remember anything from the test, the confounding variable is that you still took the test and your mind has some slight memory of what you took on the test day. It's similar to reading Harry Potter in the 4th grade, and then you read it again in 10th grade and you "magically" remember some details from it, but only because you read it before and your brain still has some of the stored information from it. This is why the human brain is so powerful..

I see thanks.
This may explain the reason why my CR score kinda got better.
Math and Writing stayed almost the same compared to the practice one in the official CB book.

Are the practice tests in CB prep book accurate?

I hope I didn't discourage you from your outstanding SAT score. I truly believe if you work out of the blue book, diligently, thoughout summer, you will be able to produce an excellent score. Good luck.
