Can I Leave Untaxed Income Blank?

Applying for financial aid at my college and I have to fill out the schools form for eligibility.
( <a href="http://www.sunywcc.edu/student_services/financial_aid/forms/Dependent_Verification_Worksheet_2011_2012_.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.sunywcc.edu/student_services/financial_aid/forms/Dependent_Verification_Worksheet_2011_2012_.pdf</a> )

It says to list untaxed income but I can't find anything on my parents 1040 tax return.
Is it okay to leave it blank or put zero? Would it hurt my chances in any way?
I have never done this before. Please help and thanks! :)

If they had none, putting a zero shouldn’t be a problem.

Many people have NO income that is untaxed. Just put a $0 in that spot if your parents don’t have untaxed income.

Ah thank you so much both of you. :)

Ask your parents if they have any untaxed income. Untaxed income does not appear on the tax return. Ask them to be sure, you don’t want to omit it if there is some that should be entered.

Are you applying for aid for the current school year (fall 2011 - spring 2012)

Agree with Swimcatsmom you need to check with your parents. For example, military members always have untaxed income.
