Can I major in graphic design at MIT?

I don’t think MIT has a graphic design program, but would it be possible. I’m considering applying to MIT for bioengineering but my plan currently is to double major in bioengineering and graphic design, so I want to know if that’s a possibility. I understand double majoring has its own set of requirements, but just the graphic design part…if anyone could help out, that would be much appreciated! Thank you!

To the best of my knowledge there is no specific program in graphic design at MIT. There are courses in the School of Architecture, at the Media Lab, and other places, plus students can take courses at the Mass College of Art, but I know of no specific major.

Cross Register with MassArt?

It’s not close by, however.

Actually the better solution is to attend one of MassArt (Massachusetts College of Art and Design) or Wentworth:
Wentworth has a bioengineering major (actually separate Biological and Biomedical) AND they are right across the street from each other.
