Can I make different versions of Common App?>?

I was wondering if we could change little things on the common app because...
I am applying to NYU, Cornell, Yale, and BC.

BC and NYU told me that it was fine if I self report my highest score. For those schools, I just want to self report my highest ACT score and just that. I dont want to submit my SAT score because it was not that great. They told me if was fine.

Cornell wanted me to submit all scores, which means that I have to self report all my scores as well.

Yale didnt require me to submit all of my scores but told me that I had to submit all of my ACT scores.

I was wondering if I could make three versions where I just alter my Testing Section in my Common App. Thanks!

This will tell you how to make an alternate version of the common app. You can duplicate the version you have and even move over any added colleges if you’ve already started the supplements for them.

The link didn’t work, but this what it said:

Before you create alternate versions of your application, please read and understand the following important information:

**Once the original version of the application is submitted, it is electronically sealed. Although a student may submit to other colleges using this application version, it cannot be edited.

*If you have any questions, please ask the Support Team *before submitting your supplement.

You can create an alternate version of your application by following the steps below.

Step1: You must submit the Common Application to at least one institution. When this is complete, you must log out of your account.

Step 2: Copy and paste the following link into your browser window (if you click, it may not work):

https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/Default.aspx?allowcopy=true

You will be presented with a login screen to the Common Application. You must then enter your existing Username and Password and click Login.

Step 3: You will be presented with a screen titled ‘Application Versions,’ where you will see information about the application that you’ve already submitted. You may then click on the ‘Replicate’ link to create an alternate version of your submitted application. When this is complete, a second version will be visible on this screen. A special drop down will appear in the upper right corner of the application to allow quick access to all your applications.

Step 4: You may edit the alternate version to allow for college-specific information. You also should move any schools needed to the new version.

you also don’t have to fill in the section on the Common App that asks you to list your scores. If this is the only thing that you want to change, then just don’t fill it in.
