Can I make it as a transfer student?

Hello everyone. I'm currently applying to the Health Science program at UF. I'm really nervous about getting in. I would like some advice and if possible, for someone to chance me. The requirements for this program is to have a 3.0 minimum for the core classes.

The pre-reqs for my major is as follows, (the grades I earned are to the right)
-A&P 1 (with lab) (A,A)
-A&P 2 (with lab) (A,A)
- Statistics (A)
- MAC 1147 (B)
- Abnormal Psychology (A)
- Intro to psych (A)
- Bio 2010 (with lab) (C,B)
- ENC 2210 (in progress)

I currently have a 3.63 GPA. I've volunteered (more than 300 hours) at my community college as an Athletic Trainer. I also had a part time job the entire time I've been in college.

My high school GPA was not very good. If i remember correctly, I graduated with a 2.5 GPA.

I plan on becoming a Physical Therapist. I'm very overwhelmed and anxious! Thanks for the help!!!

Your grades look great! Don’t worry about your high school GPA, they don’t look at anything from high school, except to make sure you have a diploma. My GPA was HORRIBLE in high school. UF loves seeing extracurricular activities, so those volunteer hours will really help you. I’m planning on doing the DPT as well. Make sure to sign up for the open house they have every few months. It is really fun!
