Hi everybody,

I am an international high school graduate from Germany thinking about studying in the USA. I will do one year of social service and then begin my studies. I would love to study in Berkeley. I know, however, that admissions are highly competitive, so I would like to know whether it is possible for internationals like me to be admitted.
I don't really want to write down my stats. Just know that I have perfect scores in my German Abitur and I am also completing the International Baccalaureate at the same time. Things that make me stand out (in a way) are:

1st place in a national math competition

attended math summer program at Stanford University

had a research project at a renowned math research institution

research at renowned Physics research center

internship at Fraunhofer institute (they developped MP3)

Well, there are a couple of things. I think I am very well-rounded (play piano for 13 years, have done various sports). I know that it's impossible to predict anything, but do I actually stand a chance?
