Can i make it into Berkeley?

<p>Taken AP Calculus B/C and A/B, AP Physics, AP USHistory, and AP English all junior year.
Passed the AP test for CAL, and Physics.</p>

<p>EC's: Soccer 3 year( Varsity 1 year), baseball, Engineering club, vice-president of the AVID club, ELC, Capital focus( law program), Law bootcamp, Boys State, Math club, Upper bound student club, EAOP, Medical program UC Davis, veterinarian program UC Davis, Math competition, chess club, Honor society, </p>

<p>Family make around 20,000 dollars a year. </p>

<p>Mexican American First Generation.</p>

<p>Have a passion for math and science.</p>

<p>Is there a chance i could make it.</p>

<p>I would say unlikely with that SAT score, although I have heard of high-GPA low-SAT people getting in.</p>

<p>You have a shot. I think you should apply, it is a reach but they do value GPA more, so that is to your advantage. If you apply to the college of envirnmental design or natural resources you will have the best shot of getting in.</p>

<p>You might get in, but you might also suffer a lot once you come in.</p>

<p>I had lower test scores/gpa, and I didn’t have as many ec’s as you, and I got in. Quite frankly, it’s not all about that. You need a really good personal statement. That did it for me.</p>

<p>Probably a reach, but you have a shot. My friend got in with less extracurriculars and around a ~1650 SAT. (She chose to attend a different school to protect her GPA though). You can still take the SAT again in December/November right? I’d say improve your scores and you might get in.</p>
