Idk if I am asking this in the right place but I would really love to get accepted into Columbia. Right now I am a sophomore at a high school that I got accepted into does that make a difference? Also last year I had A 3.97 GPA because I got an 89 in French twice but all my other grades were As this year I have a really bad chemistry teacher I'm not trying to blame my bad grades on her but she seriously does not know how to teach and she gives us really hard stuff. The first semester I got an A but second a got a B+ I'm trying to get As the next two semesters but I really stuggling I'm really scared that this will completely ruin my chances of getting into a good college. I play tennis for my hometown and junior am senior year my coach says I could be best in county (I hope) if I work hard or ill be best in school will this help? I also play the piano and played I recitals. I internship at a hospital, am part of HOSA, I tutor a lot I was part of science league and this summer I hoping to do a lot of volunteer work I was in the science league I'm gonna take a bunch of AP courses but ok that being leader of a club is important but I don't really have time for that do I have to? I also took a psychology and college algebra course. Do I have to go to a great college to make a name for myself and help the world? Thanks
