Can I make it into M&T?

I am latino (fine halfie lol), and I want to get into the fisher program in management and technology. I am going to be a senior next year in Odessa, TX.

MY stats:
GPA 4.0
SAT 2310 (740 Math, 770 Verbal, 800 Writing, 800 Math 2C, 780 Physics)
Rank: 3 of 250 (school doesn’t rank though)
No AP’s so far, although next semester I’ll be taking AP BC Calc and AP Physics, which I’m sure I’ll do quite fine in. (Oh, I guess I took AP Lit this semester, and I’m sure I did fine, but I hear that’s not terrible useful??)
My school doesn’t offer many AP’s…only honors.

EC:
An editor of school yearbook
An editor of a school journal
About 60 hours of community service, and I’ll have 100 next semester (working for a community service law program through my school)
Helped start a philosophy club
Involved in the math club (some competitions and whatnot)
NHS (who isn’t)
Worked on the stage crew for my school’s philothespic productions
Worked community service over the summer

Oh I should be national merit (216 on PSAT), and my school gave me a math/science scholarship (merely a dent though!). They’ve also recognized me for excellence in physics.

This summer I got accepted into two programs, one being a chemistry program at UT Dallas, and another being a program with NASA. Both are paid for in full by the state (government? lol).

I have job experience as a soccer referee.

I’ve taken all of the hardest classes available, and I’m sure my recs will be really good.

Do you guys think I can do it??? I don’t know how selective the M&T program is but I saw it on the application (lol, I know, I start early) and it sounds like a box worth checking!

buhp**************

I'd say you have a shot.

Personally, *IF he got in, it would be because he's hispanic. No offense frazzle.

This program is pretty similar to the Harvards, Princetons, and MITs, etc of the world in that its pretty unpredictable.

I will tell you that I had a 2280, with 3 800 SAT IIs and 3 5's on APs and was not accepted into the program, though I was accepted into engineering.

So basically my point is that while you certainly have great stats, and are certainly capable of getting into the program, it is never easy.
