I haven’t taken the SAT Tests nor the TOEFL, SAT I can take by December 5 and TOEFL by late November, but will it be on time for them to send the scores to the colleges I wish to apply? I am from Indonesia.
Depends upon the deadlines for the schools. Each school should state on their website what would be the latest sitting for the test they will accept.
Yes, if you apply RD, those scores will get there on time - and if you planned on applying to merit scholarships with deadlines on December 1st, email each university and ask them whether they’ll consider December scores if sent directly from the agency (DO NOT “rush” them, is my experience… this is a misnommer which leads to actual delays…)
However, most students need to take those tests two or three times and you won’t be able to, unless you register for the January test (it will also be accepted). And of course you need to “prep” (prepare specifically) very intensively, keeping in mind students who do well do that work over several months to a year.
Thanks guys! So I am planning to take those tests anyway and if my scores aren’t good enough, I’ll take again next year until my scores are high enough then I will apply to the colleges I wish to attend.
