Can I make it to at least ONE UC? :/

GPA: 3.63
UC GPA: 3.49

SAT’s: 1550
Subject Tests: 530 on Literature, 620 on US History
ACT w/ writing: 21

Extra curricular:
Student government all 4 years as Secretary/Treasurer
Cross Country 4 years
Badminton 4 years (Captain for 2 years, Varsity for 3)
Filipino Club 4 years
I have volunteered at a hospital for about a year.
100+ hours

Just go to a JC and transfer to a top tier UC. Don’t settle for Merced or Riverside (only two that look remotely possible at this point) just for the four-year experience.

Hmm, I didn’t realize Santa Cruz was that easy.

What’s wrong with Merced and Riverside? I’ve talked to people who go to Riverside and they say great things about school. Anyways, with your gpa and SAT scores, I think you’ll have a chance to get into UCSC, UCR, and UCM. If you’re lucky, I think you have a chance to get in or waitlisted for UCSB or UCI.

Nice article about Riverside in the LA Times.
