can i make the walk?

Is it possible to walk from the public affairs building to de neve it 10 minutes for classes?

Not a good idea. Public Affairs building is already heavily North Campus. You could run or drive your bicycle...

Yeah that is going to be a very difficult walk.

Not only that, in the midst of this, you'd probably lose a shoe, trip over it, and roll into the streets where the mean LA drivers would probably run you over and then you'd fly into Royce Hall and make another "fault" on its structure.

[/mischievous]

Take Charles E. Young straight back to the back of Covel, turn left, turn right at the stoplight of DeNeve turnaround.

I'd rather die than attempt that walk in 10 mins. ;)

North to South campus can be done in 10 mins if you aren't going to the far ends and you walk fast. Not far North campus to the Hill. Not the Hill to far North campus. Not unless you are at our school on a Track and Field scholarship.

But seriously, I usually allow myself 10 mins to get from places like Dodd to Melnitz, just so you 1. aren't running the entire way there (just walking fast) and 2. in case you get behind a ton of people as usually happens on a campus like UCLA.

Why anyone thinks that you don't need at least 15-20 mins to get from campus to the Hill is beyond me.

Our school is built on hills. Someone change it's name to University of the Bloody Hills already, cause people keep forgetting.

What about Bunche to WGYoung in 10 minutes?

It takes me 20 minutes to go from Canyon Point to Public Affairs (I believe this is Public Policy, right?)

It takes me 10 minutes just to get to the anderson school!

Yeah, I'm slow D:

Yep... Public Affairs ~ Pub Pol. I think P.A. refers to the graduate school division... "School of PA" I think.

In 10 mins??? NO!

thats why i got at least half an hour between my classes.

by the way...do the profs let students go early sometimes???

Yes.

I was in two management classes that lasted like 1 hr 45 minutes and we were let out early 95% of the time. It depends on your teacher.

If you really want to leave early, just go ahead and do it! No one will care haha.

Dang it! Does that mean I have to redo my schedule? Are they really that far from each other? Can't I run it or something? >_>

i scootered from hedrick to public policy in 6 min

Nobody around my town scooters. It died out about when we were 10 years old. But I saw one in the housing catalog. Do those things actually work well for you on campus?

And what about rollerblades?

Rollerblades? Where do you think we are? Santa Monica? The Pier? Next you're going to ask if one should wear polo shirts with scooters so that one might seem cooler. [/mischief]

Nyah nyah nyah
