Can i overcome by bad gpa?

I have a 3.7 gpa which is not sufficient for top caliber schools. On the other hand, I do not believe this is an accurate depiction of my true intelligence. I have taken every Honors class provided totaling over 10 AP's. I have over 400 volunteer hours and am going abroad this summer (currently a junior) to volunteer in India. I study at a top 100 high school in America.
I am in 5 to 8 clubs and am a position in 3 of these. Editor in chief of the school newspaper and president of 2 of those aformentioned clubs. I have volunteer hours from teaching a class and tutoring. I was elected as president of my school's AP Core program and I act as a facilitator for dialogue nights at my school in which students, parents, and faculty come together to discuss topics that relate to the community. I think I can show I am an active member of my community and I will have amazing recommendations along with a good essay. I am in NHS and will super-score around a 2280 on my SAT. If you need any additional info just ask but my dream is to go to Duke. I will do anything to get in and will apply early. Any chance? ANy other schools that are reasonable? My targets are:

Duke (Dream School ED!)
Northwestern
UPenn (Out of my reach)
WashU
UMich
Georgetown (Out of Reach?)
McGill (Toronto)
Swarthmore

Upenn, Duke - reach
NU, WUSTL, Georgetown - match/low reach
which state do u live in?

a 3.7 can get you into top schools.

I live in New York. I also forgot to mention I completed level 6 Nyssma…dont know if that makes any difference. Would applying ed to duke make a difference/be worth it? I really want to go there. I have until next year considering im a junior now. Anything I can do to get myself into Duke in that time?

duke is a reach for every1 who applies so u shdnt b too worried. 3.7 isnt bad btw (maybe a lil low for duke but its really good)
