Can I Please Get Help Comparing Duke Cornell Dartmouth and Chicago?

Well, I applied to 16 schools, got in 9, waitlisted 4 and rejected 3. Of the accepted schools, the 4 that are really vying for my attention are Duke, Dartmouth, Chicago and Cornell. Chicago is the only one giving me anything- a $10k university scholarship. Everybody else, I'm getting around $5000 in loans (federal ones) and the work study grant.

I'm planning on majoring in economics, and doing a bit of mathematics to strengthen that major for a career in business. I'm not sure what facet of business I want to go into, but I suppose that I'll figure that out in college. I'm not a party animal, and I abhor the taste of alcohol. I'm also really ambitious, and would probably go for student government, and in general try to climb up the ladders. Can anybody try to give me some help in trying to decide where to go next year? I'm leaning towards Dartmouth at the moment, but that can shift any way.

IF you are majoring in economics, UChicago is the way to go, hands down. They have the best economics department in the world and have revolutionized economics. But the atmosphere at the school may scare you away…

Economics and Math, laidback approach to socializing and non-drinker? Chicago fits you perfectly. This is a no-brainer!

Unless someone wanna go to an Ivy league school. =)

Cornell and Dartmouth’s social scene is pretty alcohol-intensive.

Go to Chicago… fits you perfectly.
