So this is an updated version of my other McGill post; most of those were just lies (I was only in 10th grade). But I’m halfway through junior year, I’m nearly finished with SATs, and I can more-or-less predict what my transcript will look like by the end of the year:
SAT I: (2 tests thus far) SAT II: APs: GPA:
CR- 580/680 Bio- 750 Euro- 5 94 10th
M- 680/510 World- 720 Bio- 4 93 11th
W- 670/650 English- 4
US Gov- 5
I know my SAT scores are a bit polarized lol, and that sucks because apparent McGill doesn’t superscore.
However, my college advisors told me that McGill actually “unofficially” superscores, which means they really only look at the highest scores, even though I have to show everything. I need to know if this is true because it goes without saying that SAT I’s are the deal breaker in college admission…ESPECIALLY McGill. Anyway, I still have one more SAT, and I seriously predict a 700 on math and a solid 650 on reading, as well as a 700 on writing. I plan on sending all my scores, but I’m extremely nervous. What are my chances if I’m only applying for standard B.A.?? And please don’t just freaking copy and paste the McGill “admission requirements”… everyone knows it’s BS, and the median SAT score this year was a 2090! I’m an orthodox Hebrew student from LI, NY, and I hope that adds at least a little bit of diversity to the campus which could help. McGill is my dream school and Montreal is without a doubt the coolest place on Earth. All I want is an arts bachelor. Chance me! Thanks!
