But I just found out I wasn't elected editor-in-chief for my school paper. Should that deter me from running for a position in my school's literary mag tomorrow? I feel like it will diminish my confidence which might be detrimental to my speech making ability.
I think I'm upset. I don't know. Maybe I'm not. I did get my second and third choices for positions (columnist and copy editor).
I can never figure out how I'm feeling.
I just like griping.
I also like the word hullabaloo.

Aww... I'm sorry. But, because I secretly stalk you, I know that you're a sophomore, so you still have one more year to run. The other people on the paper probably just wanted a (soon-to-be) senior to be Editor-in-Chief.</p>

No! I wasn't elected President in the club that I'm most involved with (I became 'workshop coordinator' or something lame like that...). I was really discouraged, but then I ran for VP in NHS, and won! And, even if you don't get the position, what I said above still applies. You still have one more year to become more involved and win that position!</p>

<p>My day today was good b/c I found out that the Ed-in-chief this picked the other person for the position b/c of seniority and that out of all the applicants, we were the two top contenders. She said I'd probably get it senior year.
