Can I prevent scores from being sent to colleges?

I wrote in 4 colleges when I registered, think that I ought to do it cause it was free, I took the ACT today, and now I dont want them sent. Is there any possible way to prevent them from being sent to the colleges?

It doens't matter if the colleges see it, unless you did not finish a section or something really bad like that beacuse they only look at the best score.

Call ACT and tell them you want to change your score recipients. It doesn't cost any money. Just do it soon cuz I know you only have so much time to change it.

You can't cancel it, but you CAN choose to not have it sent anywhere (same thing basically). Call the ACT offices by Thursday.

If you think you did poorly I would definately not have them sent. While colleges say they use your highest score you definately don't want them to possbily become prejudiced towards you if you do way lower than your best score.

ahhhh, thats a relief. Thanks guys. (freshelephant- I dont want to cancel scores, just recipients)
