Can I privately sell an instructor's evaluation edition?

Somehow in my buying and selling of books on half.com, i ended up with a book for free, but it's a instructor's annotated edition, and says that selling it is prohibited and will lead to an increase in textbook prices. I'm guessing that means I can't sell it, but would that by chance only apply to bookstores and not private sellers? It's a brand new chem book and I'd sell it for $40, I can't imagine that would raise textbook prices.

sell it (10char)

Abebooks lists a lot of instructor's manuals. I buy/sell there all the time.

yeah, i got one of those accidentally when i thought i was buying the regular student edition. its not a big deal, i would just sell it.

Avoid the solution manuals. Not only can having those increase the frequency of new editions and raise the price, you don't want to be questioned for cheating.
