Can i raise my GPA from a 3.1 unweighted to a 3.9 or close to their if i get straight As in my senior year for 7 classes?

No. 10char

Strong math skills.

(3.16+4.0)/7 = Your max GPA = 3.23
(3.16+4.2)/7 = AP Weighting = 3.26

This is your absolute maximum that you can get - meaning that you must score 93% in every single course.

what if i take classes online and get A’s i them also?

omg. ugh! will i be able to get into UCF with this GPA???

I highly doubt that online courses will be include as part of your high school transcript - as that is where GPA is calculated. However, don’t stress and remember that admissions are hollistic. In other words, officials will look at everything about your application before making a decision. They won’t just see a low GPA and throw it in the trash (though some large public universities may have an automated variation of this).

The average GPA for UCF is 3.62, while the SAT is 1767 and ACT is 26. The high-range for the two tests are 1910 and 28. If you can beat these two scores significantly, you have a very good chance of getting in. There are a lot more to an application than GPA, and most importantly make sure that you have a solid trendline (a declining GPA from freshman to senior is one of the worst things to have…)

Short answer? no.
Long answer? You can get relatively close to the UCF average if you get a 4.0 this year, but the max GPA you could possibly get is like 3.55. I will point out, however, that even that is unlikely. Going from a 3.1 to a 4.0 is very, very difficult to do - On a 100-point scale, you’d need to raise your average grade from an 86 to a 95 or higher in every class. I’m not saying you can’t do it, but unless you were a complete slacker and have now had an extreme change of heart that will never falter it’s very unlikely.

Impossible, really. Online classes won’t change your high school GPA

omg. I really need to study for those SAT & ACTs!!! But wait dosnt UCF calculate their grades differently…so wouldnt my gpa be higher bc i took a lot of AP’s and im doing duel enrollment part time this year…sooooo???

No, I believe they look at unweighted GPA.
