Can I really get there in 10 minutes?

Hi everyone!

So my concern is with two of my classes, both back to back with 10 minutes in between. I’ve managed to get to classes that are 10 minutes apart on time in the past, but the buildings/rooms were either right next to each other or in the same proximity. This time, one of my classes is in the Engineering IV building and the other is in Science North. I’ve looked at how far away they are from each other on the map and unfortunately, they look pretty far. At first, I thought it was manageable but seeing as how I barely made it on time in the past for my other classes which were even closer to each other, I’m a little worried. Basically, my question is, is it possible to make it that far in 10 minutes? (The class in the engineering building has a lecture and then a lab and the class right after that is physics, which is just a lecture.) Thanks!

P.S. I’ll be walking for sure, no bike or car.

My son is in a similar situation and has the same concerns, and decided to bring his bike.

It really depends on how fast you walk. I’m a very fast walker, so having classes like this was never a problem for me. If you think it may be an issue for you though, just tell the teacher of the later class. They’ll probably understand. And most teachers don’t start class exactly at the scheduled start time. It’s usually be at least a couple minutes later so that everyone (including them) has time to get settled in.

It really shouldn’t be a problem.- it’s not that far. It might aost take longer with a bike by the time you unlock and then re-lock it. As long as you walk fast you will be OK.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I won’t be bringing a bike but thank you. :)

Thanks for the reply! I’ve been told I walk really fast so hopefully I’m okay! And thanks for the advice about telling the teachers! I’ll definitely let them know. :)

Thanks! It’s reassuring to know that it’s not actually that far. And I agree with you about the bike thing. :)

Get a bike. Problem solved and you’ll need one anyway.

Thanks for the reply but I definitely won’t be bringing a bike. :(

If a freshman in Sierra Madre has a car, is the bike necessary? My daughter will be walking from Sierra Madre to the Business building, which is about as far as one can walk from dorm to class. I suggested she borrow a bike one day to see if the ride BACK up the hill from Business to Sierra Madre is worth it.
