I want to apply to Princeton and I might have a chance but I can't afford the costs. Can I get a scolarship if I'm not from the US?

Its not scholarship based... Princeton doesnt award scholarships based on merit. However Princeton is need blind, meaning your ability to pay for your tuition etc will not affect admissions decision. And also, you will be asked to fill out a form for applying for financial aid based on need. And if admitted, Princeton will calculate how much you can pay and other similar stuff and give you a financial aid package meeting your demands...

For more information, just look it up in the website, its pretty clear there...

OP, DEFINITELY apply to Princeton if financial constraints are a factor. Princeton is one of few universities in the US that is completely need-blind and full need met to internationals. This means that international students, like domestic students, are guaranteed to have 100% of their need met, and this need is met WITHOUT LOANS. International students also get an extra $400 during winter break to offset food costs, and ~$1000 to pay for a plane ticket home each year that's factored into the student budget.

Other schools that are need-blind to internationals include:

MIT
Harvard
Dartmouth
Middlebury
Williams
Yale

That's it. Unfortunately, not all our institutions of higher education are able to meet 100% of the demonstrated need of all students.

When I first began searching for colleges in America,my primary criteria was financial aid. While surfing, I found this college which said it would completely meet anyones financial need in spite of their nationality.I immediately decided to apply and later ,yeah much later, found out that it was the best university in US.Viva PRINCETON-I love it.

So........you should definitely ,ABSOLUTELY apply to Princeton. They are so welcoming for needy international students like you and me.Good luck!

Dartmouth is also need-blind for internationals, they just announced a change.
