can i request an interview for Harvard?

or will they contact me if they are interested?

thanks

I did not request an interview, yet an alumnus contacted me and informed me that I was to have an interview with him.

“When and where possible, we try to arrange for applicants to meet with alumni/ae in or near their school communities. No candidate is at a disadvantage if an interview cannot be arranged.”

They would contact me if they could set up someone to have an interview with you.

Falcon: That really depends on what country you are from. Read this for complete information:
[Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Interviews](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/application_process/interviews.html)

If you’re an international applicant:
[Harvard College Admissions § Applying: International Interviews](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/international/interviews.html)

In our area, our local Harvard Club director (?) made it sound like everyone here gets an interview, and that you should contact him/them if you haven’t been contacted within a month of your application being submitted.
