Hey Guys,
I hope someone can answer this question that's been bugging me:

Will I be able to view and then send scores for the upcoming Sept. 15th ACT test before the ED deadline of Nov. 1st? Or will I have to just send it without knowing my score??

Same question for the October SAT test.

THANKS SO MUCH! :)

You can easily get this kind of information directly from the ACT and College Board (for SAT) websites:

For the ACT, scores are available on-line approximately 2-1/2 weeks after the test date. For the Sept. 15 test, this would be around Oct. 3. For the Oct. 6 SAT, scores will be available on-line Oct. 25.

So yes, you can find out your scores and decide whether or not to send them before the Nov. 1 ED deadline.

But then you can’t make use of the four free reports that are included in your registration fee. Any school that you have named under that program will get its report automatically from the testing service and you can't call it back if you decide that you don't want them to see it.) After the test date, you will have to make a separate order to send the score reports to your colleges and pay a fee for each school that gets one. The fees are currently $8 per school for the ACT and $9.50 for the SAT.

Ahh... but I'm taking the ACT w/ Writing and I don't know if I'll be able to see my writing score and then send my report by Nov 1st...

When they're available online, it's only the multiple choice part... and also, can you send scores right after seeing them online or do you have to wait for the actual report in the mail???

has no one else had this problem?! I was sure someone could tell me "Oh, I did that last yr and..."

And actually, I haven't been able to get this info easily from their websites... believe me, I've tried. But maybe I'm blind... I have only found "we usually put scores online 4-7 wks after the test date..." (CB) and "it takes about one week for us to process your report request" and the like...

I was hoping to hear from someone who has been through this... ???
