Can I select different letters of recommendation for different schools?

<p>Can I ask three teachers to write me a letter of rec for the common app and choose only two based on the school/program where I'm applying to?</p>

<p>Or can I have my back-up recommender write and submit the letter on commonapp and use it if necessary?</p>

<p>And if so, how would that work? Thanks! :)</p>

<p>you can have different teachers write for different schools. once you add teachers on the common app, you select which schools you invite each for.</p>
